Study Goal
The aim of studies toward the M.A. degree is to impart in-depth historical knowledge as well as the tools for engaging in historical research. To this end, students specialize in one period (ancient or medieval period, modern history or post-modernism) or in one specific theme that is not limited to a certain period and participate in integrated studies common to all periods.
Admissions Conditions
Structure of Studies
Studies are conducted on one of three tracks:
Track A-with a thesis.
Track B-without a thesis, but with a final examination.
Personal track-with a thesis.
Duration of Studies
Track A-three years.
Track B-two years.
In special cases, an extension may be requested of the Dean of the Graduate School for an additional year.
